Damon Meng is the Founder, CEO, and CIO of Aspen Global Management. Prior to founding Aspen Global, Mr. Meng was a Senior Managing Director, Portfolio Manager at Yunfeng Financial Group, where he had full investment authority for managing a global long/short equities strategy and built the public markets team and business. Before Yunfeng Financial Group, he was a senior investment professional covering global equities at Greenwoods Asset Management, a global investment firm that had more than US$20 billion in assets under management, and at Scopia Capital Management, a global long/short investment manager that had more than $6 billion AUM. Prior to that, he was on the private equity investment team at Blackstone Inc.

Mr. Meng graduated from The Juilliard School and cum laude from Harvard College with an A.B. in Economics.
